Vivian was one of Edward's favorite baristas, she was young full of talent and life. And she started bringing him shiny gifts. After a few years the young woman gathered up the courage to ask him on a date. He said yes, but stood her up. Accidentally getting enthralled with a painting through the night she had asked him to meet her.
She switching to day shift the next couple weeks. And when he finally realized he had messed up he went against his own rules and went to find her. It wasn't hard Vivian lived on campus and worked at a record shop he sometimes went to. So, when she got out of work that night he was waiting by her car for her. An apology and an explaination. Within a matter of weeks he gave her her first taste of the kiss that she would get addicted to. No man's touch was as good as a little nip from the young looking professor. Soon she was living with him watching over him while he slept in the day, some days she would sleep beside him. She was utterly in love with Eddy and expected that one day she would be embraced or become his mortal wife. She ceased bringing him shiny gifts, and started bringing him victims.
He never asked this of her but she always found a way to bring him people that no one would miss that was until 10 years into their relationship/partnership she brought him an underaged girl that he couldn't bring himself to hurt. A girl who turned out to be his mortal niece. She knew Eddy was smitten with the girl and grew dangerous threatening to kill the girl if he didn't drain her, or if Eddy didn't turn Vivian herself into a vampire.
He reluctantly agreed to embrace her, giving her one last kiss before telling her she would need to go down to a certain club and bring him back Queen's Crimson it was a color she had never heard of before but it wasn't the first time Eddy sent her for pigments at strange hours... only Queens Crimson was a code, for a human that must die in that club. He sent her off to her death knowing it would keep Karly safe and his own hands clean.
